Hot Flushes in Breast Cancer Patients

Hot flushes or hot flashes are very common in women who have been treated for breast cancer. The effects of the chemotherapy can induce the menopause in women - and even if that does not happen the drugs used to suppress estrogen like Tamoxifen and Arimidex will often trigger hot flashes. Recent research suggests that another drug might be helpful in reducing these problems.
