THE remains of the last missing Digger in Vietnam may have been found. A team of experts is travelling to Vietnam to determine whether the discovered remains are those of SAS Pte David Fisher. Pte Fisher was lost when he fell 30m from a rope during a helicopter mission on September 27, 1969. He was second-in-command of a long-range SAS patrol, which became outnumbered and pursued through dense jungle.
