The Washington-based Institute for Science and International Security recently asserted that Iran has resolved many of the technical flaws in its 4,000 centrifuges, used in Iran's uranium enrichment program. The institute, headed by former U.N. nuclear inspector David Albright, said Iran was enriching uranium at a rate that would enable nuclear weapons capacity by March 2009. "The centrifuges now appear to be running at approximately 85 percent of their stated target capacity, a significant increase over previous rates," the report concluded.
