As of September of 2008, all cars and light trucks sold in the United States have been required to be equipped a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). This system alerts the driver if one or more of the tires goes below a certain air pressure level. You should make every effort to assure that the TPMS system continues to work with the tire and wheel package you install.
